The Commercial Core & Lodging Commission consists of seven regular members and two alternates. Members are appointed by City Council, each to four year terms. There are no residency requirements for membership, nor shall candidates for appointment be required to be qualified electors.

The Commercial Core & Lodging Commission's mission is to promote vitality and success of Aspen's downtown core for business owners, locals and visitors and to act as liaison between City Council, City Staff, business owners and managers.
