Commercial Water Efficiency Challenge
The Commercial Water Efficiency Challenge is now live!
The City of Aspen Utilities Department was awarded a $75,000 grant from the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) to begin a Commercial Water Efficiency Challenge, Rebate, and Awards Program. Businesses have the opportunity to participate in a year long Challenge aimed at bringing water efficiency into daily practices. Through certain actions, businesses can compete to earn points which will be tracked throughout the year and those who have completed the most efforts will be publicly recognized. Each business who participates will have the opportunity to replace an existing appliance with a high efficiency model and be eligible to receive up to a $7,500 rebate offered through the Challenge.
