Recycle Christmas trees at Rio Grande Recycle Center
Aspen, CO - The city of Aspen, in partnership with Aspen Tree Service, is offering free Christmas tree recycling. Trees are accepted until Feb. 14 at the Rio Grande Recycle Center, 618-598 Rio Grande Place, Aspen.
Prior to recycling the tree, remove all ornaments, lights, and decorations. Wreaths and garland are not accepted due to the danger of metal wiring when chipping the trees. Recycled trees will be turned into mulch for future planting.
