Free disposal event for paint cans, printer ink, and lightbulbs
Aspen, CO- The city of Aspen is hosting a free waste drop-off event on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help residents and the greater community properly dispose of lightbulbs, paint cans, and printer ink.
Bring your old paint cans, lightbulbs, and printer ink to the Rio Grande Recycle Center (located at 618-598 Rio Grande Place) for safe and free disposal, courtesy of the city’s Environmental Health and Sustainability Department.
Types of paint not accepted: Spray paint, paint thinner, solvents, cleansing agents, adhesives, roof patch, drywall mud and driveway or roof sealer.
By participating in this event, you are helping to protect our environment and keep our community safe by disposing of these materials properly and keeping them out of the local landfill.
