[ARCHIVED] Free Irrigation Assessments for Aspen Water Customers

Press Release
Free Irrigation Assessments for Aspen Water Customers
Assessments detect overwatering and optimize landscape care

Aspen, CO - The city of Aspen is offering free irrigation assessments this summer to help residents optimize their sprinkler systems, conserve water, and potentially lower their water bills. The city’s contracted team of certified water-efficient landscapers will visit your property and conduct a comprehensive assessment of your irrigation system.  This includes evaluating sprinkler heads for optimal settings, identifying repair needs, and pinpointing opportunities to improve overall efficiency.

Currently, sign-ups for this free service can be made for July 11, 2024, and August 6, 2024.

Implementing the recommended improvements from the assessment may qualify you for a city rebate of up to $2,500. Optimized irrigation saves water, can reduce your water bill, and promotes a healthier landscape.

The city of Aspen supports the community’s efficient use of water by offering these free irrigation assessments to interested Aspen water customers.

Our community’s shared water supply is heavily used in the summer for outdoor irrigation, yet many properties may be overwatering or not optimizing their irrigation and sprinkler systems. This free service saves water for our entire community.

Even minor adjustments to your current irrigation system can make a significant difference. The program can identify tweaks needed to ensure your system delivers the perfect amount of water and prevents waste.
