City Hall to be closed on Feb. 23
Limited online services will be available to public
Aspen, CO – Due to the impacts of the Palm Tree Music Festival being held Friday and Saturday at Rio Grande Park, City Hall will be closed to the public on Friday, Feb. 23.
The city will suspend City Hall in-person services that day, which includes departments such as the clerk’s office, community development, environmental health, and engineering.
City Hall staff members will be working remotely, and virtual services will remain open. However, walk-up community development services, in-person Planner-of-the-Day, and in-person Builder-of-the-Day services at City Hall will not be available.
Essential services and other city facilities will remain open.

There will be a road closure of Rio Grande Place between the parking lot west of City Hall and the entrance and exit to the parking garage from Monday, Feb. 19 through Monday, Feb. 26. The public can access the garage from the upper ramp on Mill Street or by traveling east on Main Street to Spring Street and then to Rio Grande Place.
The parking garage will remain open throughout the week and event, however the Rio Grande entrance will be closed on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23-24. The entrance will be exit only during concert times on Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Rio Grande Recycling Center will be used as an ADA and private vehicle drop-off and pick-up area on festival days. Expect increased traffic on the evenings of Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24.
