Kids First Offering Parent Workshops
First session on Monday, September 19

Aspen, Colo. – Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 – Kids First, alongside Aspen Family Connections, is offering six workshops designed to strengthen families. Classes are free; most are held at the Yellow Brick, 215 N. Garmisch Street, in the lower-level training room, and one is available virtually.   

The workshops include:

  • Preventing and Responding to Challenging Behavior
     
    with Claire Winchester, Winchester Consulting, M. Ed, BCBA, LBA.           
    Monday, Sept. 19 | 12-1 p.m. | Yellow Brick Building - Bring Your Lunch
  • Yoga, Mindfulness and Overall Well-being with Your Child
     
    with Fallon Berbenchuck certified Early Childhood Coach, Creative Art teacher for young children, certified Yoga and Mindfulness teacher, certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach & Family Consultant         
    Wednesday, Oct. 12| 10:30 a.m. | Yellow Brick Building - Bring Your Child
    Friday, Nov. 4 | 10:30 a.m. | Virtual - Zoom Link Provided Upon Registration
  • Sensory Integration and the Impact on Behavior
     
    with Marissa Meinema MS, CBIS, OTR/L Occupational Therapist, Certified Brain Injury, Pediatric Occupational Therapist 
    Thursday, Oct. 27 | 4-5 p.m. | Yellow Brick Building
