ABC Trial Temporary Detour and Old Stage Trail Temporary Closure This Week

Aspen, Colorado – June 21, 2021 – The City of Aspen Parks Department will temporarily detour several sections of the ABC Trail between Maroon Creek Bridge and the Roundabout on Tuesday, June 22 through Saturday June 26 to conduct trail repair. Areas of repair are expected to see small detours around the work. Cyclists may need to dismount.
In addition, the Parks Department will temporarily close Old Stage Trail between ABC Trail and Relay Road on Tuesday, June 22 to conduct trail resurfacing and other maintenance work along the trail. Crews anticipate the closure will be in effect the second half of the day Tuesday. While this closure is in place, pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured to the ABC Trail.
