City of Aspen utilities department conducts water line repairs
The city of Aspen Utilities Department will perform water line repairs on Main Street between Garmisch Street and 3rd Street on Oct. 30, 2025. Work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to take approximately 24 hours to complete, with asphalt paving operations occurring on Friday.
The bus lane on Main Street will be closed. Traffic may be temporarily shifted out of the right lane to ensure safety as work progresses. Water service will be affected for properties on Main Street from Garmisch to 3rd Street. All affected properties have been notified.
The city appreciates the community’s patience as crews work to complete repairs as quickly and safely as possible. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
