Kids First Sponsoring Free Parenting Workshops
October 8 and 15 in Aspen and November 5 and 12 in Basalt
Aspen, Colorado – October 2, 2018 – The City of Aspen Kids First is sponsoring two parenting workshops presented by Mia Wilson, MA, LPC and Megan Monaghan, MA, designed to help parents nurture and facilitate their child’s emotional development. The first workshop is on how to connect with your child during emotional moments to build resilience. The second is on discipline as a means of teaching, while keeping a child’s brain development in mind. The sessions are offered in Aspen on October 8 and 15 at the Yellow Brick from 5:30-7pm; and in Basalt on November 5 and 12 at the Art Base from 5:30-7pm.
