Celebrate Mallfest 42 October 6 from 11am-2pm
Aspen, Colorado – October 1, 2018 – The City of Aspen’s Pedestrian Mall is the proud recipient of the American Planning Association’s 2018 “Great Places in America” designation. A celebration of this designation and the 42nd anniversary of the Mall will take place Saturday, October 6 from 11am-2pm that will feature lawn games, sidewalk sales, free parking and a raffle. At noon near the Aspen Dancing Fountain there will be remarks from local, state, and national officials followed by a ribbon cutting and free cake for the first 100 people. Shoppers who turn in a receipt to the ACRA booth between 11am – 2pm will be entered to win one of over $5,000 in prizes. Parking will be free in Aspen Saturday, October 6 through Monday, October 8. Everyone is welcome to attend.
