City of Aspen announces 2025 Art Cart Alpine Rally Winners
Aspen, CO- The second annual Art Cart Alpine Rally was held at the Whoa Nelly Sledding Hill at the Aspen Recreation Center on Saturday, Feb. 8. The event welcomed 10 youth and 12 adult competitors and was a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and community spirit.
Participants raced to win cash prizes in several categories: Fastest adult and youth carts, judged on speed, and the Most Creative adult and youth carts, judged on design.
This year’s winners are:
- Fastest adult cart: The Groundhog, Sam Rose
- Fastest youth cart: The Goofy Goobers, Cole Ryan and Wyatt DeVito
- Most creative adult cart: Super Venison, Chase Ellsperman
- Most creative youth cart: The Little Drummer, Sidney Farrell
“We are excited to host an event that celebrates Aspen’s unique character and sense of tradition,” said Wesy Armour-Cook, special events assistant manager. “A special thank you to all of our volunteers, participants, and spectators for making the event a memorable experience.”
