Board and commissions applications close Jan. 29
Aspen, CO – The city of Aspen has several open positions on various boards and commissions and is encouraging residents to apply. Applications are being accepted until Jan. 29, and interviews will take place on Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. in council chambers.
Open positions include:
- Board of Adjustment: one alternate member
- Building Code Board of Appeals: one regular member
- Election Commission: one regular member
- Historic Preservation Commission: two regular members, one alternate member
- Local Licensing Authority: two regular members, one alternate member
- Open Space and Trail Board: two regular members
- Planning and Zoning Commission: two alternate members
- Wheeler Opera House Board: three regular members, one alternate member
Serving on a board or commission provides a valuable opportunity to influence local decision-making and help shape the future of the community. The city urges residents to take advantage of this opportunity to apply.
