Power Plant Road to be closed on September 23, 2024
Aspen, CO – The city of Aspen will conduct asphalt work on Smuggler Bridge along Power Plant Road on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024. Due to this maintenance work, Power Plant Road will be closed to through traffic for the day. Work will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents who live on Power Plant Road will be granted access during the closure. All other motorists are advised to plan alternative routes. This important infrastructure improvement will help maintain the safety and longevity of the bridge.
