PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
City of Aspen Re-launches Aspen 311 Connect Mobile Application
Aspen, CO — The city of Aspen announces the re-launch of Aspen 311 Connect, a mobile application that allows community members to communicate directly with their local government to submit requests, concerns, questions, and comments of appreciation to City staff.
Since the mobile application launched in 2022, over 1,600 requests have been resolved through the app. The city’s Strategy and Innovation Office has worked closely with city staff and the software vendor to resolve technical issues users have encountered to improve the customer experience.
Users can submit requests for issues such as potholes, street light repair, graffiti, illegal dumping, snow removal, noise complaints, and more. The app can also be used to inquire about city services for general questions.
Built for use on a mobile phone, the app allows users to easily connect with the city by taking a photo of the issue and submitting a request to resolve it. Users can download the app for free in Apple and Android stores by searching “Aspen 311”. Once an individual enters their submission into the system, the request will be automatically routed to the correct department to be resolved. Updates regarding issue resolution are communicated through the app from staff.
“The city continues to strive to be a smart, customer-focused government, and our Aspen 311 Connect mobile app is aimed at providing a streamlined communication process for the community to resolve non-emergency concerns,” said Strategy and Innovation Office Director Patrick Quick. “Aspen 311 is the most efficient way to quickly address issues within city limits or Aspen’s trail system, but it does not replace other customer service channels. As always, our staff are happy to provide assistance in person, over the phone, or through email.”
For those who do not use mobile applications, you can now dial 3-1-1 within the city limits to be routed to the city’s main phone line for your convenience. Aspen 311 Connect is for non-emergency requests. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1.
