City of Aspen celebrates Arbor Day June 8
Aspen, CO - The city of Aspen parks department will host a community celebration for Arbor Day on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Paepcke Park.
There will be information booths with topics including tree planting, tree care, and forest updates. Cool down with Good Pops popsicles and enjoy freshly popped popcorn. Activities include a scavenger hunt, bucket truck rides, a raffle and 120 free tree giveaways with proof of Aspen residency, such as a utility bill.
Bring your family and friends to learn more about our environment and contribute to our community's green spaces.
