City of Aspen Hosts the Aspen Gets Us There Community Open House
A forum on transportation and parking strategies
Aspen, CO - The city of Aspen invites community members to participate in the Aspen Gets Us There community open house and pop-up event on April 2, 2024. The open house will be at the Aspen Police Department Community Room at 540 E Main Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, the pop-up event will be held at Rubey Park from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Transportation and parking are vital components of Aspen's infrastructure, and the city seeks to enhance these systems to better serve the community's needs. The Aspen Gets Us There open house and pop-up events provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the strategies being considered to improve transportation and parking in Aspen.
Attendees will engage with city staff, transportation experts, and project partners to discuss current initiatives and provide feedback on proposed strategies. Whether it's enhancing public transit, optimizing parking solutions, or promoting alternative transportation methods, the city values input from the community in shaping these decisions.
"This is an opportunity to contribute to the future of transportation and parking in Aspen," said Pete Rice, director of transportation and parking for the city of Aspen. "Community input is invaluable as we develop strategies that address the evolving needs of our community."
