City of Aspen Experiences Power Outage
Aspen, CO - The city of Aspen encountered a power outage at 8:41 p.m. on Feb. 28, 2024. This incident impacted select areas within Aspen, prompting an immediate response from city of Aspen electric crews. Crews mobilized and restored power to all affected customers by 9:22 p.m.
The disruption stemmed from a malfunction at the connection between a primary underground cable and a transformer. Prompt action from city electric crews facilitated the repair to resolve the issue.
