CITY OF ASPEN LAUNCHES “ASPEN GETS US THERE” INITIATIVE 

To evaluate and improve transportation and parking citywide 

 

Aspen, CO - The City of Aspen has launched a comprehensive transportation and parking planning initiative, titled “Aspen Gets Us There, to improve transportation and parking for all Aspen community membersThe city will host outreach opportunities aimed at understanding the economic, demographic, and technological realities that influence mobility behaviors. 

 

“Aspen Gets Us There” is a commitment to ensuring that all Aspen residents and visitors enjoy convenient, sustainable, and efficient transportation and parking options. It’s a reflection of our dedication to reducing traffic congestion and enhancing accessibility for everyone. 

 

We want your input: 

 

Visit our Aspen Community Voice page to learn more about “Aspen Gets Us There” to actively participate in shaping the future of transportation and parking in our city. To make your voice heard and contribute to this effort, please take a few moments to complete our survey available online at: aspencommunityvoice.com/aspen-gets-us-there 

 

Aspen Community Voice serves as a platform where community members can share their ideas, experiences, and suggestions. This project page features an ideas board and an interactive mapping toolproviding various ways to engage and offer input. 

 

“Community input will help the city understand changing needs and improve transportation and parking options now and, in the future,” said Pete Rice, Director of Transportation and Parking. “Stay tuned for a series of in-person engagement opportunities, where you can meet with our project team and share your insights directly.”
