Kids First Offering Positive Solutions Parenting Classes

Aspen, Colorado – October 4, 2021 - Kids First is offering a seven-session parenting class designed to help promote children’s social emotional development and help parents and caregivers address challenging behavior in children. Classes are offered every Monday starting October 18 through December 6 from 5:15 – 6:45 p.m. at the Yellow Brick at 215 N. Garmisch Street (no class November 22). The cost is $30 per person and includes a light dinner.
Classes will be taught by Kids First Quality Improvement staff members Adley Kent and Megan Monaghan and will focus on the following topics:
October 18 – Making the Connection
October 25 – Keeping it Positive
November 1 – Behavior has Meaning
November 8 – The Power of Routines
November 15 – Teach Me What to Do
November 29 – Responding with Purpose
December 6 – Putting it Together with a Plan
