PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
parkrun Returns to Aspen
Aspen, Colorado – June 14, 2021 – The group running event known as parkrun returns to Aspen Saturday, June 19 at 9 a.m. and continues every Saturday thereafter. The parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5km run/walk encouraging the community to get active and healthy. And the best part of parkrun is the post-parkrun tailgate party with coffee and pastries, generously donated by Paradise Bakery. The course at the Aspen Golf Club is 5K long. Please register at https://www.parkrun.us/aspen/ to be timed and participate. Volunteers also welcome. Runners meet by the tennis courts at the Aspen Golf Club.

Everyone is welcome to come along, whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. The City of Aspen sponsors the world's highest parkrun, this fact alone brings tourists to our town each week specifically to take part in Aspen parkrun.
