New Ballot Drop Box for City of Aspen Municipal Election
City of Aspen Voters Have Several Options for Ballot Return

Aspen, CO – February 4, 2021 – Starting February 8, ballots are being mailed to all eligible Aspen voters for the March 2 municipal election. New this year, the City of Aspen is debuting a ballot drop box in front of City Hall at 130 S. Galena Street which is accessible 24 hours a day through 7 p.m. on March 2. This drop-box offers contactless voting, a safer way to vote during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, all the ballots may be returned via US mail. Voters must affix proper postage to their ballot.
Ballots sent via mail must be received by 7 p.m. on March 2 so please plan accordingly.
If any voter has not received their ballot by February 16, please contact elections@cityofaspen.com.
For those who opt to vote in person, early voting starts February 12 at City Hall and is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On March 2, Election Day, voters may vote from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall. All in-person voters must bring a valid, government issued ID.
