Winter Transit and Parking Information

Aspen, Colorado – November 20, 2017– The City of Aspen will transition to its winter transit schedule on November 23th. The appropriate information is listed below.
Aspen Free Shuttles
- Effective November 23th
- Routes return to high season schedule with extended hours.
- The Cross Town and Galena Street Shuttles return for the winter. The Galena Street Shuttle will operate on a new route, picking up outside the Rio Grande Parking Garage.
- Highlands Direct: Beginning December 9th, continuous departures from Rubey Park and Aspen Highlands Village from 8am – 4:30pm. After 4:30pm, departures are two times per hour.
Aspen Parking
- Winter parking rates in the core begin December 1st.
- Paid parking on Saturdays resumes on December 2nd.
- No parking in the downtown core from 3am – 7am daily to facilitate snow removal.
- Carpools of two or more adults may pick up a free carpool parking permit at the Airport Parking Kiosk on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. Visit www.commuterconnect.net for help with locating carpool partners.
- Inexpensive covered parking is available at the Rio Grande Parking Plaza. Ten visit punch passes and monthly passes available.
