Electronic Waste Collection Events in Aspen

Aspen, Colorado – May 6, 2019 – The City of Aspen is hosting two events for residents and businesses to responsibly and safely recycle electronic waste. On Saturday, May 18 from 9am-1pm, community members can drop-off personal e-waste for free at the Marolt Housing parking lot, 100 Marolt Place. Businesses who want to recycle e-waste must contact Lorin Marco of BlueStar Recyclers at lorin@bluestarrecyclers.com or 720-390-0369 to schedule an appointment and obtain pricing information. Business e-waste pick-up is by appointment only on May 16 and 17. Materials not accepted include: refrigerators, large appliances, A/C units, thermostats, smoke/CO2 detectors, batteries, light bulbs, or any items with hazardous chemicals.
