Water Wise Landscaping Resources

In the City of Aspen, approximately 60% of treated water is used outdoors to irrigate our yards and parks. This means that there is enormous potential to reduce our community’s landscape water demands. By planting low water using plants that are climate adapted and drought tolerant along with ensuring irrigation systems are working efficiently and effectively, we can protect our water supply, the environement and recreational opportunities in the Roaring Fork Valley.

This page provides a list of free resources available to support homeowners and landscape professionals in developing and maintaining water efficient landscapes.

We also encourage you to follow these links to learn more about Aspen’s Water Efficient Landscaping Standards and the Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper Training Program.
