How do we engage with the community?

The International Association for Public Participation provides a globally recognized framework that outlines five levels of public participation: Inform, Consult, Involve, Collaborate, and Empower. This model guides our engagement with the community.

How we put it into practice:

  1. Inform & consult
  2. Involve, collaborate & empower
  • Press Releases: Our communications team regularly issues press releases to share updates on city projects, initiatives, and key developments.
  • Social Media: Follow our channels for timely updates on events, city news, council decisions, and more.
  • Emergency Alerts: Stay informed during emergencies by signing up to receive alerts via text, email, or phone.
