  • Buildings make up 47% of greenhouse gas emissions in our community.
  • To address climate change, we must reduce emissions from buildings. 
  • To reduce emissions from buildings, we must make them more efficient and electrify them (for example, swapping out a gas stove for an electric/induction stove).

Making buildings more efficient and electric not only helps our community address the climate crisis but it has other community benefits such as cleaner air, increased comfort, promoting green jobs, and even utility cost savings.
