Free seeds, expert insights, and refreshments offered
Aspen, CO - The city of Aspen invites community members to join a discussion on waterwise landscaping on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Aspen Police Department community room, located at 540 E Main St.
Discover how to create a beautiful, waterwise landscape with guidance from Deryn Davidson, Sustainable Landscape Specialist with CSU Extension. This talk will explore practical tips on soil, water, plant choices, and more to help you garden smarter and more sustainably. This is a crucial strategy as our region faces ongoing water challenges.
Attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and treats, and the first 20 guests will receive free perennial seed packets to inspire their own water-conscious gardening efforts.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to learn how small changes in your yard can make a big impact.
