APCHA to host educational seminar May 14
Session will include information on HOA insurance, wildfire mitigation
Aspen, CO – The Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority (APCHA) invites all HOA board members, condo owners, and property managers to a free educational seminar focused on HOA insurance and wildfire risk mitigation.
Molly Foley-Healy, a community association law expert from Winzenburg, Leff, Purvis & Payne, will lead the session, offering valuable legal perspectives for HOAs and an overview of property insurance available for condominium projects. Foley-Healy specializes in community association law and has years of experience advising HOAs.
Additionally, Colorado insurance agent Pat Wilderotter will provide insights into the current insurance landscape and strategies for risk mitigation. Wilderotter has specialized in insuring community associations for over 25 years. She is one of 150 agents in the country to hold the designation of Community Insurance and Risk Management Specialist.
A representative from the Aspen Fire Department will discuss approaches to reduce wildfire risks in condo projects.
