City of Aspen releases RFP for Rio Grande building restaurant space
Aspen, CO – The city of Aspen has issued a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified vendors to lease and operate the commercial restaurant space located at 455 Rio Grande Place.
Aspen City Council is seeking a vendor for the location that will operate an affordable, family-friendly, year-round restaurant serving the Aspen community. All proposals must acknowledge and incorporate these requirements to be eligible for consideration.
To expedite the selection process, the city has put the RFP online. Interested vendors can view the photos and drawings of the leasable space, and the full RFP containing the submission requirements, application process and timeline, lease terms, and additional information at aspen.gov/1763/Rio-Grande-Building-Restaurant.
The Rio Grande building offers a strong potential for consistent customer traffic with City Hall, Rio Grande Park, and downtown businesses in close proximity. The city seeks to continue this site’s history of providing fast, reliable and affordable food service to the community.
