City of Aspen unofficial results for 2025 municipal election announced
The city of Aspen 2025 municipal election unofficial voting results show that Rachael Richards has won the mayoral seat with 1,435 votes. Katy Frisch received 1,189 votes.
In the race for two council seats, the 45% of votes plus one, a threshold of 1,123 votes, was not reached. The four candidates who received the most votes will advance to a runoff election to be held on April 1, 2025:
- Emily Kolbe received 1,067 votes
- John Doyle received 1,091 votes
- Christine Benedetti received 1,018 votes
- Torre received 825 votes
The three candidates receiving the least number of votes will not be included on the runoff election ballot:
- Scot Woolley received 630 votes
- Tyler Wilkinson-Ray received 307 votes
- Maryanne Pitt received 47 votes
Referendum 2 passed with 1,369 votes for yes, and 1,276 votes for no. Referendum 1 did not pass with 952 votes for yes, and 1,652 votes for no.
