Community Open House with CBO Candidates

After over 30 years with the City of Aspen, Stephen Kanipe, Aspen’s Chief Building Official (CBO) will be retiring on March 1^st. The search for a new CBO is underway.

Please join us on Thursday, January 10^th 3:30 – 5pm in the library meeting room for a meet and greet with our finalists. Light refreshments will be served.

Lift One Corridor Update

The Lift One Corridor project will be headed to City Council on January 7^th, and possibly January 14^th for final review and referral to the March ballot. Both meetings are public hearings, and begin at 5pm in Council Chambers in City Hall.

Both the Building and Planning Offices are now located in City Hall! Please come see us on the 3^rd floor – 130 S. Galena Street.

We are open 8am - 4:30pm. Our walk-in hours for builder and planner of the day hours are 8am - Noon.
