In an effort to improve the efficiency of submittals, the City of Aspen is allowing select projects to not have a Construction Mitigation Plan (CMP) submitted until the 2nd Round of review. The new requirements will go into effect January 1, 2019.
Required at 1st Round The following projects must submit a construction mitigation plan with
1
st round submittals:
- Landscape & Grading
- ReRoof
- Tenant Finish
- Repair
- Demo
- EPIC
- Interior Finish and Fixture Removal (IFFR)
- As determined by City Staff per the individual conditions of each project
Required at 2nd Round The following projects must submit a construction mitigation plan with or before 2
nd round submittals:
- New Residential
- New Commercial
- Phased Permits
- Additions
CMP RequirementsYou must submit a CMP if any of the following apply:
- Interior and/or exterior soil disturbance exceeding 1,000 square feet
- Building structure disturbance exceeding 400 square feet
- Change in ownership or contracting services
- Modifications desired to an approved CMP
