In an effort to improve the efficiency of submittals, the City of Aspen is allowing select projects to not have a Construction Mitigation Plan (CMP) submitted until the 2^nd Round of review. The new requirements will go into effect January 1, 2019.

Required at 1st Round
The following projects must submit a construction mitigation plan with
1^st round submittals:

Landscape & Grading
ReRoof
Tenant Finish
Repair
Demo
EPIC
Interior Finish and Fixture Removal (IFFR)
As determined by City Staff per the individual conditions of each project

Required at 2nd Round
The following projects must submit a construction mitigation plan with or before 2^nd round submittals:

New Residential
New Commercial
Phased Permits
Additions

CMP Requirements
You must submit a CMP if any of the following apply:

Interior and/or exterior soil disturbance exceeding 1,000 square feet
Building structure disturbance exceeding 400 square feet
Change in ownership or contracting services
Modifications desired to an approved CMP
