THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT IS MOVING!!!

The Building Department is moving back to City Hall to join their colleagues in the Community Development Department on the third floor. They will be taking over the space vacated by the County Community Development Department. We are excited at the prospect of having our Department together again!

Moving Closure Dates

Our furniture is expected to arrive Wednesday, December 5^th. Assuming that happens, the Building Department will be closed Friday, December 7^th and Monday, December 10^th to move and set up the new office space. Inspections will take place as usual on those days. Please use the existing process to schedule them.

CMP Requirement Update

Staff is re-adopting the Construction Management Plan Requirements Manual with minor edits which includes the online training certification of the Construction Management Plan. This online course can be found at cmpaspen.com. Other edits include updated sound mitigation requirements including requiring a Sound Engineer to model site plans, requiring continued noise monitoring on high impact sites, establishing a construction mitigation committee and appeal process, updating regulations concerning commuting methods and parking impacts for projects and waste management guidelines.
