Aspen's E-Waste Collection Event
Join us on May 11th to Safely Recycle Your Electronics
Mark your calendars for the E-Waste Collection Event happening this Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 8 am to 12 pm at the Marolt Housing Parking Lot (100 Marolt Place, Aspen).
What's e-waste?
It's anything with a plug or battery! Think computers, printers, keyboards, monitors, TVs, stereos, microwaves, faxes, VCRs, cell phones, and more. These items often contain lead and other heavy metals, making proper disposal essential to prevent environmental harm.
Help us keep Aspen clean and green by dropping off your personal e-waste for free!
Remember, e-waste does not include smoke detectors, batteries, or mercury bulbs. Those are considered household hazardous waste and should be handled separately.
Learn more about e-waste in aspen.gov or contact us at waste@aspen.gov.
