CITY OF ASPEN LAUNCHES “ASPEN GETS US THERE” INITIATIVE
To evaluate and improve transportation and parking citywide
Aspen, CO - The City of Aspen has launched a comprehensive transportation and parking planning initiative, titled “Aspen Gets Us There”, to improve transportation and parking for all Aspen community members. The city will host outreach opportunities aimed at understanding the economic, demographic, and technological realities that influence mobility behaviors.
“Aspen Gets Us There” is a commitment to ensuring that all Aspen residents and visitors enjoy convenient, sustainable, and efficient transportation and parking options. It’s a reflection of our dedication to reducing traffic congestion and enhancing accessibility for everyone.

“Community input will help the city understand changing needs and improve transportation and parking options now and, in the future,” said Pete Rice, Director of Transportation and Parking. “Stay tuned for a series of in-person engagement opportunities, where you can meet with our project team and share your insights directly.”
Live engagement opportunities, including pop-up events and focus group discussions, will be held in December. To stay informed about the latest event announcements, please visit our project page.
