The City of Aspen and Kids First Are Accepting Proposals for an Operator to Run a Childcare Business at the Yellow Brick
The City of Aspen and Kids First are seeking proposals from qualified, licensed childcare providers interested in operating three classrooms at the Yellow Brick building in Aspen.
Proposals are being accepted now through April 4. Interested parties must meet licensing requirements to qualify.
The Yellow Brick building is owned by the City of Aspen and managed by Kids First. Operator receives a subsidized lease cost, and cleaning and maintenance of the common areas.
Goals of the program include an operator who:
- Provides affordable, quality, year-round, full-day childcare at least 5 days a week that meets the needs of residents and employees.
- Provides a nurturing environment for children.
- Accommodates different age groups.
- Accommodates a variety of income levels.
- Operates in a financially sound manner.
