Annual Summer Arts and Culture Celebration returns to Red Brick Center for the Arts July 24

Aspen, CO – In partnership with the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA), the city of Aspen invites the community to the Summer Arts and Culture Celebration, set to take place at the Red Brick Center for the Arts on Thursday, July 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Red Brick Lawn. This vibrant community event will feature live music, performances, art activations, open artist studios, local nonprofits, and light refreshments.

Presentations from resident artists, including Nika Meyers, Art Burrows, Leah Potts, Caitlin Dunn, Tammie Lane, Michael Bonds, Eric Brownstein, Nancy Kullgren, Lorraine Davis, and Mindy Vernon, will highlight the evening.

The entire community is invited to enjoy live music by the Josefina Mendez Trio, tour open artist studios, watch a series of short films presented by Aspen Film, and participate in hands-on art-making activities. The JAS Aspen Student Street Horns will perform a special preview set, Theatre Aspen will offer a sneak peek of an excerpt from the upcoming production, “Seussical Jr: Oh The Thinks You Can Think”, and the Aspen Polynesian Dancers will perform and host a flower crown-making station.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with ACRA for the fourth annual Arts and Culture Celebration,” said Sarah Roy, executive director of the Red Brick Center for the Arts. “This event offers a unique opportunity for the community to engage with the arts through performances, interactive activities, and meaningful connections.”

This celebration offers a unique chance for the community to connect with the Red Brick Center for the Arts and ACRA to learn more about programming and services in the Aspen art community.

“Aspen Chamber Resort Association is thrilled to partner with the Red Brick Center for the Arts to celebrate our vibrant arts and culture community,” said Sarah Reynolds Lasser, vice president of business development at ACRA. “This annual event brings together our member businesses, local workforce, arts and culture partners, and community members to honor what we value in Aspen, like personal connections, inspiration from our natural surroundings, and fostering an environment where Aspen can thrive.”
