Tooth Out! Wagner Playground Bash set for July 3 in Aspen
Celebrate the removal of the ‘Tooth’ and look ahead to new playground
Aspen, CO – The city of Aspen invites families, neighbors, and visitors to join the Tooth Out! Wagner Playground Bash on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Wagner Park playground. This community-focused event will mark the removal of the beloved, but aging “tooth” play structure and showcase plans for a new playground.
The celebration will feature free ice cream, games, kids’ activities, and opportunities to reflect on memories of the old playground while looking forward to the next chapter at Wagner Park.
“This is a chance for the community to say goodbye to a piece of the Wagner playground and share in the excitement for what’s to come,” said Michael Tunte, the city’s landscape architect.
All are welcome to attend to give the “tooth” a proper send-off.
