Building Pre-submittal Meetings
Pre-submittal meetings are recommended for anyone who is undertaking a major building project. During the pre-submittal meeting, you can explain the specifics of your proposed project to the Community Development permit coordinator, building plans reviewers and other review staff.
In turn, they can provide feedback on whether your project appears to face any stumbling blocks, verify the permits and approvals you need to obtain and provide information on the likely turnaround time for review of your project plans.
Requirements for a Pre-Submittal Meeting
You will need to have the following information with you during your meeting:
- Any required prior approvals and sign-offs
- Detailed scope of work
- Name and contact information
- Project Address
