About Us

Long-Range Planning focuses on amendments to the regulations in the Land Use Code and “big picture” policy development to support City Council and community goals. The Aspen Area Community Plan is the City’s primary policy document. Long-Range Planning also collaborates with other City departments to support their planning and outreach efforts.

Feedback

The City of Aspen places a premium on public input and participation to develop community policies and regulations. Aspen Community Voice is the City’s web-based tool for gathering public input on a wide range of City policies, code amendments and initiatives. We always welcome your feedback.
