Communications Survey

Perhands typing on a laptop keyboard the direction of City Council, the Communications Office is developing a Communications Strategic Plan to guide how the city shares information and engages with you - our community.

This process includes a city-sponsored questionnaire to gather feedback and data as one tool to inform the strategy. The City of Aspen currently is working with Elevated Insights, a market research firm, to complete a Communications Satisfaction and Preferences Survey in January 2021. This survey builds upon a series of eChats hosted in August 2020.

Through this survey, the city seeks to measure the community’s satisfaction with communications, as well as understand communication preferences. We'll use the feedback to guide the city's communication improvement efforts and share survey results, as part of the Communications Strategic Plan, on the city website.

Emailed Survey
Surveys were emailed directly to 200+ selected residents in Aspen who specifically opted-in through the 2019 Community Survey to share input on city communications. Selected residents received an email on December 3, 2020, inviting them to participate in the survey and notifying them that a survey link would follow in a separate email from Elevated Insights.

Online Survey
Residents not a part of the group have the opportunity to fill out the survey online. The online surveys is available December 7, 2020 to January 11, 2020.
