Project Summary

Pending council approval, the City of Aspen anticipates making concrete repairs and replacements to the areas shown below as part of annual maintenance work. This work will include replacement of sidewalks and curb & gutter, pedestrian ramp improvements and electric conduit work. These areas have been prioritized based on the condition of the existing concrete,

public input and coordinated road repairs.

These improvements address ADA accessibility, increase safety for pedestrians, and are important

investments to Aspen’s infrastructure.

Additional Information

Timeline:  April 9, 2019 through the summer of 2019 – The duration of work for each area will vary based on the

conditions encountered, but it is estimated to be approximately two weeks per area.

Traffic Impacts & Detours:  Pedestrian and business access will remain open with some detours. Follow signage

and flagger instructions.

Some parking will be closed for limited durations when crews are working near improvement areas. Please follow signage.
